She teamed her look with sleek hair, fresh makeup, gold earrings and nude ankle-strap heels.

2013 Couture Council of the Museum: Iman In Michael Kors

Iman attended the 2013 Couture Council of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

The event honored designer Michael Kors and the supermodel looked beyond chic in her Michael Kors leopard trench coat, black button down blouse and pale salmon trousers.

She finished off her look with straight hair, oversized glasses, neutral lips., and nude pointy heels.

Flawless as always.

Jennifer Lopez will always shut everything down on the red carpet!

The entertainer wore a spectacular animal print Michael Kors dress.

The open-back detail is hot as ever.

She completed her look with a funky voluminous updo, Rona Pfeiffer jewelry, and neutral makeup.

2012 MTV Movie Awards: Kerry Washington In Michael Kors

Kerry Washington gave us nothing less than an extravaganza on the red carpet for the '2012 MTV Movie Awards' held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.

There were many mix reviews regarding her ensemble. I know 100 percent that I am in loooooove with it!

The 'Scandal' actress wore a sensational mustard and black duchess silk Michael Kors rise-and-fall dress.

My only drawback is the matching oversize Kele clutch. The star is the dress, and everything  else needs to stay in the background.

A fresh bun, flawless make-up, and black Roger Vivier heels completed her look.

Lifetime Celebrates 'Betty & Coretta": Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige attended the premiere of her new movie 'Betty & Coretta' on the Liftetime channel in New York City.

She looked sleek and chic in her white Michael Kors crepe cap-sleeve sheath dress.

She finished off her look with a side-swept updo, metallic belt, fabulous turquoise clutch, and nude platform heels.

2013 NRJ Music Awards: Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys attended the '2013 NRJ Music Awards' in Cannes, France.

The singer wore a fabulous black cut-out Michael Kors dress, but her hair, and necklace instantly ruin the look for me.

I just can't get pass that dead animal on top of her head!

The Vhernier necklace was totally unnecessary paired with the dress.

Because the silhouette has so much going on, a clean look and minimal jewelry would have been ideal.

The actress looked  absolutely beautiful in her gold embroidered Michael Kors cut-out dress.

A beautiful bun, Lorraine Scwartz ruby earrings, and Ferragamo embellished clutch finished off her look.

Spring Trendspiration: Mod Squad

I know it might seem a tad early to start thinking about spring fashion when it hasn't even started snowing yet, but there's no harm thinking ahead when it comes to wardrobe inspiration.

Top 10 New York Fashion Week Looks

It's the most wonderful time of the year! That's right, it's fall fashion week. Here's the run-down of my top 10 favorite looks from the NYFW fall/winter 2012 runways, in no particular order.

Derek Lam

An oversize peacoat and V-neck sweater tone down a kinky patent leather pencil skirt in the most fantastic way, don't you think?

Rag & Bone

The first look on Rag & Bone's runway, a metallic suit buttoned at the ankle and topped with a striped coat with leather sleeves, is sexy, modern, and of-the-minute.

Marchesa

In the midst of all of Marchesa's enormous frothy gowns was this curve-hugging knockout made of liquid gold. If someone (Angelina! Michelle! Jessica Chastain!) doesn't wear this to the Oscars, I will be gravely disappointed. 

Jason Wu

Asian prints are one of the biggest trends this season, and so far my favorite look comes from Jason Wu. This exquisite gilded suit is tailored to perfection and dressy enough for a red carpet event.

Oscar de la Renta

This powder blue confection is fit for a Hollywood princess. I hope petticoats come back in a big way, because this is the sweetest thing I have seen on the runway so far. I would love to see this on Hailee Steinfeld.

Peter Som

Fur bombarded loads of New York runways this season, but the most interesting take was Peter Som's multicolored version. Paired with perfectly slouchy, burgundy leather pants, and the result is downtown cool.

Narciso Rodriguez

Narciso's take on the mullet dress (long in the back and short in the front) is so simple and chic. The pop of burnt orange and bold black arrows perfect the look.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors had one of my favorite shows this season because every single look he sent out was absolutely to die for. His ski bunny knits and rustic furs were out of this world.

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs' show was an ode to wacky style eccentrics like Anna Piaggi and Lynn Yaeger, but I mainly saw Eliza Doolittle mixed with Dr. Seuss. It was insane, but quite charming. I especially loved this metallic, rose embroidered fuchsia dress. It would look splendid on a dark-haired beauty like Camilla Belle. But don't wear the hat, dear, or you'll have a guaranteed spot on a worst-dressed list. Also, I NEED those metallic pink pilgrim-buckled flats. I predict they will be as hot as the Prada flatforms.

Ralph Lauren

No one does dandy better than Ralph Lauren. I adored his borrowed-from-the-boys sweater vest and tie combos, and this iteration topped off with an ocelot-printed coat was my favorite.

One of the first spring trends I've gotten excited about is the tribal look. So many designers this year were inspired by African and tribal clans, like Michael Kors whose "Afriluxe" collection was a breath of fresh Sahara air. If the trend is a bit too much for you, adding a fringey, patterned scarf like the ones seen at A. F. Vanderworst will give you the look without looking too literal.
