Kerry Washington looked absolutely adorable at the '66th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards' held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California.

The 'Scandal' actress is floated in her white and black tulle daisy cotton Swaroski baby doll dress.

I adore the lightness of this silhouette for the mom-to-be.

She finished off her look with sleek hair, soft make up, Christian Louboutin pvc 'Bollywood Boulevard' pointy heels.

June Ambrose - 'Girls' Season 3 Premiere Event — Part 2

June Ambrose looked ladylike in her red and black floral printed Oscar de la Renta 3/4 sleeves dress for the 'Girls' season 3 premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

I have to admit that this was not a wow factor, because the dress is a little too 'lady who lunches' for the fashion forward celebrity stylist.

She redeemed herself quickly rocking some hot polka-dot Christian Louboutin platforms to give the ensemble a little more oomph!

Jessica Pare attended the the 2013 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The actress looked marvelous in her turquoise silk Osca de la Renta rise-and-fall dress.

I simply adore this voluminous silhouette and the pockets are a bonus.

She completed her look with a messy updo and black strappy Oscar de la Renta heels.

Usually I wouldn't like black pair with this vibrant color, but it works and it gives the dress a little edge. I also like she wore minimal jewelry.

Kerry Washington took my breath away at the '2013 NAACP Image Awards' wearing a stunning pink and aqua guipure lace Oscar de la Renta gown.

This was the perfect silhouette for the talented, and beautiful actress.

Pure perfection from head to toe.

The talented actress took home three awards for Best Actress in a drama series for 'Scandal'. Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture 'Django Unchained', and a President Award for her public service.

She wore an extraordinary pink and mint embroidered Oscar de la Renta ball gown.

I adore the delicate sweet number, and the sculptural hemline.

She completed her look with up-and-down hair, a divine pink Kotur pink clutch, and brooch, and Christian Louboutin heels.

Kierman Shipka was too cute for words on the red carpet for the '2013 SAG Awards' held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The 13 year old actress wore a divine blush pink floral applique Oscar de la Renta

She teamed her look with waves, rose lips, and silver Oscar de la Renta silver metallic platforms.

The actress looked remarkable in her melon mermaid Oscar de la Renta mermaid silk faille dress.

I am lusting over her sensational diamond Harry Winston statement necklace.

She topped off her Hollywood glamour look with soft curls, and a Roger Vivier clutch.

Anne Hathaway was one of the many celebrities at the '18th Annual Critic's Movie Awards' in Santa Monica, in California.

I was extremely underwhelmed with her in her nude embellished Oscar de la Renta dress.

The color washes her out, and it's just a meh moment.

Top 10 New York Fashion Week Looks

Thursday, February 23, 2012

It's the most wonderful time of the year! That's right, it's fall fashion week. Here's the run-down of my top 10 favorite looks from the NYFW fall/winter 2012 runways, in no particular order.

Derek Lam

An oversize peacoat and V-neck sweater tone down a kinky patent leather pencil skirt in the most fantastic way, don't you think?

Rag & Bone

The first look on Rag & Bone's runway, a metallic suit buttoned at the ankle and topped with a striped coat with leather sleeves, is sexy, modern, and of-the-minute.

Marchesa

In the midst of all of Marchesa's enormous frothy gowns was this curve-hugging knockout made of liquid gold. If someone (Angelina! Michelle! Jessica Chastain!) doesn't wear this to the Oscars, I will be gravely disappointed.

Jason Wu

Asian prints are one of the biggest trends this season, and so far my favorite look comes from Jason Wu. This exquisite gilded suit is tailored to perfection and dressy enough for a red carpet event.

Oscar de la Renta

This powder blue confection is fit for a Hollywood princess. I hope petticoats come back in a big way, because this is the sweetest thing I have seen on the runway so far. I would love to see this on Hailee Steinfeld.

Peter Som

Fur bombarded loads of New York runways this season, but the most interesting take was Peter Som's multicolored version. Paired with perfectly slouchy, burgundy leather pants, and the result is downtown cool.

Narciso Rodriguez

Narciso's take on the mullet dress (long in the back and short in the front) is so simple and chic. The pop of burnt orange and bold black arrows perfect the look.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors had one of my favorite shows this season because every single look he sent out was absolutely to die for. His ski bunny knits and rustic furs were out of this world.

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs' show was an ode to wacky style eccentrics like Anna Piaggi and Lynn Yaeger, but I mainly saw Eliza Doolittle mixed with Dr. Seuss. It was insane, but quite charming. I especially loved this metallic, rose embroidered fuchsia dress. It would look splendid on a dark-haired beauty like Camilla Belle. But don't wear the hat, dear, or you'll have a guaranteed spot on a worst-dressed list. Also, I NEED those metallic pink pilgrim-buckled flats. I predict they will be as hot as the Prada flatforms.

Ralph Lauren

No one does dandy better than Ralph Lauren. I adored his borrowed-from-the-boys sweater vest and tie combos, and this iteration topped off with an ocelot-printed coat was my favorite.

Whether inspired by a showgirl in her boudoir at Zac Posen or "Princess Margaret on acid" at Christopher Kane, designers showed lace pieces for every fancy on the Spring 2011 runways.

Sweet, scalloped-edged looks will be perfect for Sunday brunch while sheer and sexy styles will surely turn heads during a night out on the town.

Whatever your taste in lace, designers will offer every flavor this spring.
