– THE PERFECT SHADE OF STAND UP continues to bring the best names in comedy to
Las Vegas with the announcement of a new show to the all-female comedy series.
Hosts of MTV’s late night show Nikki & Sara Live, Nikki Glaser and Sara
Schaefer are set to co-headline the Lipshtick stage Saturday, Sept. 27.
Sara
Schaefer is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer currently based
in Los Angeles. Sara has appeared on @Midnight, John Oliver’s New York Stand Up
Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Best Week Ever and Inside Amy Schumer. She
won two Emmy awards for her work as the head blogger for Late Night with Jimmy
Fallon, and was named one of Comedy Central's Comics To Watch in 2010.
Nikki
Glaser is one of the hottest comedians working today. She has performed stand
up on The Tonight Show, CONAN, Late Night with Seth Meyers, @Midnight and
Showtime and hosted her own Comedy Central half-hour stand-up special.
Since
her early start in television as a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing while
still a senior in college, Nikki has honed a refreshing, honest, and quick-wit
that makes her one of the stand-out stand-ups on the scene today.
LIPSHTICK
- THE PERFECT SHADE OF STAND UP is a resident comedy series that marks the
first time in the storied entertainment history of Las Vegas that the comedy
stage will be taken exclusively by female performers. The new series brings
regular stand-up comedy performances to The Sands Showroom from an opening
slate of 14 critically acclaimed comediennes.
Ticket
prices range from $37.50 to $77.50, not including tax and fees. A limited
number of suite packages that include a meal at select Venetian and Palazzo
restaurants, as well as VIP packages that include preferred front-row seating
and a meet-and-greet with the comedienne, will be available.
