The
Downtown Las Vegas Events Center invites guest to experience live music under
the desert sky with its first headlining concert featuring Capital Cities with
special guest Joywave. The hit indie bands will take the stage at Downtown Las
Vegas’ newest concert and events venue for an energetic live show Saturday,
September 20.
Indie
electro group Capital Cities shot to fame with the release of its debut EP
“Safe and Sound,” which went multi-platinum across several continents. Ryan
Merchant and Sebu Simonian are the frontmen behind the breakout alt-dance
group. The six-member ensemble has made a name for itself delivering
interactive live sets that ignite the audience in dance with its innovative
sound. After opening for Katy Perry during her hit world tour and playing at
music festivals around the country, including Coachella and SXSW, Capital
Cities is embarking on a headlining world tour in fall 2014. Best known for the
hit single “Tongues” featuring KOPPS, indie rock group Joywave will open the
show in Downtown Las Vegas.
General
admission tickets are $25 and VIP tickets are $35. VIP ticket holders will have
exclusive access to a “Party Pit” where they will enjoy prime views of the
stage.

Located
at the corner of Third St. and Carson Ave., the Downtown Las Vegas Events
Center can accommodate up to 15,000 guests and features state-of-the-art sound,
lighting and audio equipment. The open-air design is inviting to both tourists
and locals and offers the perfect spot for concerts, conventions and other
large-scale events.
