Join The 2nd Miss Asian Las Vegas Pageant At The Palazzo

The second annual Miss Asian Las Vegas Pageant unveils its official 2014 host and judge lineup for its event at The Palazzo Theatre at The Palazzo Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.



After an exceptional job as host last year, KLAS Ch. 8’s reporter and anchor Patranya Bhoolsuwan is back to work the crowd once again. She is a two-time Emmy Award-winning reporter and was named the “Best Reporter in Las Vegas” by the Nevada Broadcasters Association in 2012. Bhoolsuwan will emcee the entire pageant by announcing the 2014 delegates and various special acts throughout the event. Last year’s pageant queen Catherine Ho and second runner up Alexandra Drechsler will join her on stage as co-hosts.



The pageant’s judges come from an array of backgrounds including television, events, marketing, entrepreneurship and more. The group boasts notable leaders including KTNV Ch. 13’s The Morning Blend and Valley View Live! host Dao Vu; former contestant on ABC’s “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” and Marketing Partnerships Sales Coordinator at Ultimate Fighting Championship Marquel Martin; businessman, fashion blogger and current cast member on CBS’s “The Amazing Race” Dennis Hour; international model, fashion blogger and current cast member on CBS’s “The Amazing Race” Isabelle Du; Official Artist for Disney and Warner Bros. James Mulligan; President at WENDOH Media Michael Skenandore; Founder/President of BESTAgency Carrie Carter-Henderson; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Birch Company Jean Birch; Co-Founder and CEO of the mobile gaming company Hobo Labs  and Founder and former Chief Technology Officer and of Lithium Technologies Lyle Fong; Chief Operating Officer at Twilio, Inc. Roy Ng; Managing Director and Founder of Reality Center Management, Inc. Michael Palmer; and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at The Venetian® and The Palazzo Mary Choi Kelly. Preliminary judges will evaluate the girls’ interview abilities the day before they take the stage. Pageant judges will assess the culture, talent, evening gown and swimwear rounds. Scores from the preliminary round and pageant will be combined to determine the winners.
