Musicians can be the best outlet for designers to showcase their most avant garde designs and get them the publicity they need to survive in the cutthroat industry.

Marketing minded musicians understand that in order to kill at their art, they have to wear it too, so they compete to become fashion's most risk taking mannequins. Some start fashion crazes and influence A-list designers while others remain outsiders of the fashion world, citing the overused "I don't care about clothes" excuse.
