On
September 4, 2014, Innovative Dining Group’s beloved Japanese restaurant at the
Caesars Palace Forum Shops, Sushi Roku, will join Three Square Food Bank to
raise awareness about the 340,000 Southern Nevadans that grapple with hunger
daily. “Go Orange Day,” an initiative founded by Feeding America and supported
by local food banks nationwide, is the kickoff event for Hunger Action Month
(September), where communities and individuals come together to donate funds
and volunteer to help make a difference.
Sushi
Roku is showing support for local efforts by switching to orange napkins and
table décor, and offering a Japanese Julep with orange, shiso leaves,
chili/cinnamon/orange syrup, Gentleman Jack Whiskey, shochu, and iced tea; Sea
Bream Carpaccio with orange marmalade, red, green, and yellow bell peppers,
yuzu vinaigrette, and sea salt; and Orange Panna Cotta. The restaurant also
asks guests to show their commitment to ending hunger in Southern Nevada by
posting photos of their “Go Orange” menu items on Facebook, Twitter, and
Instagram, tagging Sushi Roku and Three Square Food Bank, using the hashtags
#GoOrange and #HungerAction, and by donating funds and volunteering time.
