The Oscars is an event that I giddily anticipate each year. Fashion and film are two of my favorite things in the world, so I give two thumbs up to anything that can tie them together.
This morning, the Academy announced the nominees for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards. The biggest category of course, is Best Picture. Here are this year's nominees:
- Black Swan
- The Fighter
- Inception
- The Kids Are All Right
- The King's Speech
- 127 Hours
- The Social Network
- Toy Story 3
- True Grit
- Winter's Bone
The Hurt Locker (2009)
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
No Country For Old Men (2007)
The winner also has the option of substituting any past Best Picture winner if he or she does not want one of the above movies. Check out the list of every Best Picture winner here.
