The Look for Less: Bandage Dresses

This season, the nineties make a comeback, and the trend that tops my list is curve-hugging, formfitting cocktail numbers, à la Cher Horowitz from cult flick Clueless. Celebrity favorite Hervé Léger does it best with his ultra-sexy bandage dresses, but unless you have a wad of cash to blow (the frocks start at $900 a pop), these dresses probably aren’t in your price range.

Above: Bebe cross strap colorblock dress, $98. Available at Bebe. Fashion Mall.
The good news: contemporary fashion chain Bebe has similar slinky styles at a much more wallet-friendly price. But don't say I didn't warn you. When you enter a room clad in one of these babies, don’t be surprised if you cause grown men to simultaneously drool and howl while you get bitch slapped by their girlfriends. These dresses are that sizzling. One last thing: If you don’t look hot naked, pass on this trend – these dresses fit so tight that rolls and dimples will probably be noticeable.
